Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and lead a high-performing team in Jakarta's SCBD area. You will manage staff, control costs, and drive service excellence across all dining areas.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and in-depth knowledge of F&B operations within a luxury setting, with a focus on maintaining premium standards and profitability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant manager, preferably in a high-end dining establishment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, staffing, and financials.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise all the restaurant staff.
• Schedule shifts and manage staff rotations to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours. Ensure payroll is processed in timely manner.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to employees to maintain high service and performance standards.
• Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and resolve any staff-related issues or conflicts to enforce Golden Rule.
• Interact with customers, handle complaints or concerns, and address any issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience.
• Monitor service quality, table turnover, and overall guest satisfaction, taking appropriate actions to improve where necessary.
• Keep Open Table inventory at optimum level.
• Regularly review customer feedback and follow up with guest to ensure proper resolution and make necessary adjustments to improve service and exceed guest expectations.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Analyze financial reports, DRR, forecast sheets, P&L’s and budgets, to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to achieve financial targets in collaboration with Marketing and culinary team.
• Implement cost-control measures, monitor expenses, and work towards optimizing operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.
• Work closely with the culinary team to develop and refine the menu, ensuring a diverse selection of high-quality dishes.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion sizes through regular inspections and staff training.
• Ensure staff has proper tools & training to deliver exceptional guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, liquor licensing, and employment laws.
