Job summary

Palembang hotel is seeking a meticulous and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards across guest rooms and public areas. You will drive guest satisfaction, enforce safety procedures, and manage staff to uphold the hotel’s reputation in South Sumatra.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to train and motivate a diverse team while coordinating with hotel management and budgeting

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead their housekeeping team at a prominent hotel in Palembang. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are immaculate. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional attention to detail, and effective team management to deliver a consistently excellent guest experience. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standards to ensure guest satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost control.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
• Train new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and hotel standards.
• Handle guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and manage departmental budget effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.
• Ability to train and motivate a diverse team.
• High school diploma required; vocational training or certification in hospitality is a plus.
