Job summary

Banyan Group is seeking a meticulous and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team at a prominent hotel in Palembang. You will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and effective team management to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will train staff, implement cleaning schedules, oversee inventories and budgets, and ensure safety and sanitation compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Housekeeping Manager or Assistant
• In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations and sanitation standards
• Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
• Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software
• Ability to train and motivate a diverse team
• High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily housekeeping and laundry staff
• Develop cleaning schedules and standards to ensure guest satisfaction
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens and equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas
• Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and safety
• Handle guest requests related to housekeeping promptly
• Monitor and manage departmental budget
