Job summary

Palembang hotel is seeking a meticulous and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards across guest rooms and public areas. You will drive guest satisfaction, enforce safety procedures, and manage staff to uphold the hotel’s reputation in South Sumatra.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to train and motivate a diverse team while coordinating with hotel management and budgeting

Qualifications

• Experience as Housekeeping Manager or Assistant required.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff daily.
• Develop cleaning schedules and standards for guest rooms and public areas.
• Manage inventory and control costs of supplies and equipment.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality.
• Train new staff on cleaning techniques and safety.
• Handle guest requests related to housekeeping promptly.
• Monitor department budget.
