Job summary

Pullman Jakarta Indonesia is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee room attendants and public areas, ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and the highest guest service standards throughout the hotel. You will lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team, coordinate with Front Office for status updates and special requests, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene protocols.

Job Summary

Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of room attendants and public area attendants to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and high standards of guest service throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations and ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to hotel standards.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas regularly.
• Coordinate with Front Office for room status updates and special guest requests.
• Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain service quality.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure proper use and availability.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist in scheduling, staff allocation, and daily briefing.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a team.
• Basic computer knowledge and understanding of housekeeping systems (Opera) is an advantage.
