Job summary

PT Vinfast Automobile Indonesia is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead daily logistics for the General Assembly line, ensuring timely delivery of parts and strict inventory control. You will manage a team, allocate manpower, and coordinate with production, warehouse and control functions in a fast-paced factory environment.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s in logistics or related fields, 5+ years in logistics with leadership experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in logistics, warehouse, material handling, or production logistics with leadership.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow and FIFO/FEFO.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Able to work in shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ensure all logistics activities comply with procedures and safety standards.

Job description

Manage team members and ensure manpower allocation according to operational requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of parts and materials to the production line to avoid production disruption.

Monitor material flow, line feeding, material handling, and inventory accuracy.

Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Material Control, and other related departments.

Monitor team performance, productivity, safety, quality, and 5S implementation.

Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.

Prepare daily operational reports and communicate issues or shortages to relevant stakeholders.

Ensure all logistics activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in logistics, warehouse, material handling, or production logistics, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry as a Team Leader, Group Leader, Supervisor, or similar leadership role is preferred.

Good understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, line feeding, FIFO/FEFO, inventory control, and 5S.

Must have active English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and work in shifts when required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with WMS, SAP, or other ERP systems is an advantage.
