Job summary

PT Garuda Yamato Steel is seeking an experienced import logistics coordinator to ensure smooth cross-border shipments. You will manage documentation, schedules, LC/SKBDN openings, and insurance coordination to support seamless delivery.

You will liaise with Purchasing, Customs & Logistics, trucking, suppliers, EMKL/EMKU, and other stakeholders, monitor shipments, ensure compliance, and maintain records for audits. Proficiency in English and placement at Cikarang are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in logistics / industrial engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years experience with customs regulations and logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs, HS codes, duties and taxes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and verify import documentation (invoice, packing list, BL, COO, PO).
• Maintain and update import shipment schedules and docs.
• Prepare LC/SKBDN openings and coordinate shipping insurance.
• Coordinate import shipments arrivals, trucking, sub-warehouse deliveries, unloading.
• Monitor shipment activities, box rentals, weight tally, surveyor coordination.
• Review customs, PIB, payments, freight, and shipping instructions.

• At least 3 years workig with customs regulations, compliance and logistic management.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian customs regulations, import requirements, customs clearance procedures, HS Code, duties and taxes, and customs compliance.
• Ability to coordinate and monitor transportation, shipment schedules, customs clearance, warehousing, and inbound delivery activities to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Familiarity with customs clearance software, ERP systems
