Job summary

Garuda Yamato Steel is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage import documentation, verify schedules, and ensure compliance with Indonesian customs. The role coordinates shipments and supports audits while maintaining accuracy and timely communications with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of work with customs regulations, compliance and logistics management.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian customs regulations, HS codes, duties and taxes.
• Ability to coordinate transportation, shipment schedules, and warehousing.
• Familiarity with customs clearance software and ERP systems.
• Proficient in English; willingness to be placed at Cikarang.

Responsibilities

• Manage and verify import documentation including Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, and PO.
• Maintain and update import shipment schedules and related documentation.
• Prepare LC/SKBDN opening applications and coordinate shipping insurance.
• Coordinate import shipment arrivals, trucking, and warehousing activities.
• Monitor shipment activities, including box rentals, tally weight, and surveyor coordination.
• Review Customs PIB, payments, freight comparisons, and shipping instructions.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Customs & Logistics, trucking, EMKL/EMKU, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documents for Customs Audit and compliance.

What Will You Do :

• Maintain and update import shipment schedules and related documentation.
• Prepare LC/SKBDN opening applications and coordinate shipping insurance arrangements.
• Coordinate import shipment arrivals, trucking, sub-warehouse deliveries, and unloading activities.
• Monitor shipment activities, including box rentals, tally weight, and surveyor coordination.
• Review Customs, PIB, payment, freight comparison, and shipping instruction documents.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Customs & Logistics, trucking, EMKL/EMKU, suppliers, and other related stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documents for Customs Audit and compliance requirements.

What We Are Looking For :

• Bachelor Degree of Logistics / Industrial Engineering / Management / Transportation Management, or related fields.
