Job summary

Yogyakarta Marriott is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs aligned with the company’s mission. You will partner with property leadership to identify development needs and drive initiatives focused on product knowledge, customer service, and leadership skills.

The role requires developing program plans and budgets, promoting training programs to staff, and measuring impact to ensure ROI.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in HR, Hospitality, or related field; 2 years experience; certified trainer.
• 4-year bachelor's degree in HR, Hospitality, or related field; certified trainer; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and informs employees about all training programs.
• Displays leadership in guest hospitality and exemplifies excellent customer service.
• Helps employees identify specific behaviors that contribute to service excellence.
• Ensures employees receive ongoing training to understand guest expectations.
• Uses effective training methods to ensure employees have a good understanding of guest satisfaction.
