Yogyakarta Marriott is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead and align training with the hotel's mission. You will design, develop, and deliver both custom and corporate programs, focusing on product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership skills.

You will conduct needs assessments, measure ROI, and work with property leadership to address development needs. This role emphasizes adult learning principles and continuous improvement in service excellence.

Competenze

• 2-year degree in HR, hotel/restaurant management, hospitality, or related major; 2 years HR experience.
• 4-year bachelor's degree in HR, hotel/restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major; certified trainer; no work experience required.

Mansioni

• Administer training programs and promote participation.
• Promote leadership in guest hospitality and ensure quality customer service.
• Identify behaviors contributing to service excellence and train accordingly.
• Ensure ongoing training to meet guest expectations.
• Use effective training methods and measure guest satisfaction outcomes.
• Meet with training cadre regularly to support training efforts.
• Observe staff performance and provide feedback to individuals and managers.
• Monitor enrollment and attendance in training classes; assess progress with participants.
• Partner with operational leaders to evaluate and improve training transfer to operations.
• Develop plans to align training with mission and business indicators.
• Develop budgets and manage training expenses in line with HR goals.
