Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a passionate Lean Engineer to lead improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and project management practices. You will analyze processes, drive measurable outcomes, and collaborate across functions to reduce waste and improve quality in a global manufacturing environment.

This hands-on role requires 5–7 years of lean manufacturing or PM experience, a bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred), and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, engineering preferred.
• 5–7 years of lean manufacturing or project management experience.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Ability to lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in employing Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
• Supporting the design and development of Six Sigma program strategies and goals, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and business process improvements.
• Providing assistance in the implementation of Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.
• Participating in planning, developing and implementing Six Sigma projects to meet specific quality and performance standards.
