Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Assembly area to drive equipment and process improvements, analyze production efficiency and quality, and ensure safety and environmental compliance in a hands-on role.

You will collaborate with operations and technical teams, coach staff, and support planning, development, operation and maintenance of equipment and processes while contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required with a minimum of 3 years in a similar manufacturing role.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Monitoring equipment and process reliability; addressing problem areas.
• Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas.
• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
• This role requires working onsite five days a week with travel up to 20%.
