Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a passionate Lean Engineer to join our team and drive improvement across functions. In this hands-on role, you will lead projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and PM methodologies to reduce waste, boost quality, and enhance operating performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop Lean strategies, and contribute to the deployment of Six Sigma programs while embedding a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required, preference for an Engineering background.
• 5–7 years of experience in lean manufacturing or project management.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Ability to lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in employing Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
• Supporting the design and development of Six Sigma program strategies and goals, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and business process improvements.
• Providing assistance in the implementation of Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.
• Participating in planning, developing and implementing Six Sigma projects to meet specific quality and performance standards.
