Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a Lean Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and project management to deliver measurable business outcomes in our plant. The role is hands‑on: you will analyze processes, mentor teams, and collaborate with functions to reduce waste, improve quality and enhance overall performance.

A bachelor’s degree, 5–7 years in lean manufacturing or project management, and English proficiency are required.

Responsibilities

Assisting in employing Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
Supporting the design and development of Six Sigma program strategies and goals, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and business process improvements.
Providing assistance in the implementation of Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.
Participating in planning, developing and implementing Six Sigma projects to meet specific quality and performance standards.
