Job summary

Caterpillar Indonesia Batam is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Assembly team. This hands-on role focuses on evaluating production processes, improving efficiency, cost effectiveness, and safety and environmental compliance.

You will collaborate with operations and technical teams to coach staff, support planning and maintenance, and drive continuous improvement in a vibrant industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably with heavy machinery or large components.
• Proficient English communication.
• Strong CAD and ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Experience with Teamcenter and manufacturing dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement enhancements to equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment reliability and address issues.
• Provide coaching and development for operations technical staff.
• Support planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment and processes.
