Job summary

Wira's Playroom in Jakarta Selatan seeks a Classroom Lead to unite curriculum, IEP goals, therapy carry-over and daily care into one calm, inclusive room. You will set rhythm, supervise teacher assistants, and ensure every child participates.

You will work with specialists, adapt lessons, communicate with parents, and maintain records while following safeguarding policies. The role requires leadership, planning, and strong teamwork in a special-needs setting.

Qualifications

• Leads a team of teacher assistants and coordinates classroom activities.
• Adapts lessons to individual children's needs.
• Embeds IEP goals into daily routines and activities.
• Maintains effective communication with families and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Run the room day to day, establishing rhythm and routines.
• Plan lessons and activities based on the Curriculum Lead's framework.
• Deliver each child's IEP within the daily flow of activities.
• Lead teacher assistants, assign tasks, give feedback, and develop them.
• Track progress, adjust strategies when needed, and ensure inclusive participation.
• Ensure every child is actively engaged and not merely present.
• Collaborate with specialists and integrate their strategies into the classroom.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for parents and share progress.
