Traveloka is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer for the Customer Care team. You will design the systems your area is built on, set the technical direction, and have direct impact on business results across our disruption handling and refunds.

You will ship multi-service architectures, decompose problems, mentor engineers, review code, and steer AI tool usage to speed delivery while guarding reliability.

Competenze

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience designing a multi-service system from scratch.
• Ability to define API contracts and a delivery plan.

Mansioni

• Design and ship multi-service systems for Customer Care with attention to latency and cost.
• Decompose product problems into service architectures and APIs.
• Set technical standards through code reviews and collaboration.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through review and pairing.
• Act as senior on-call authority to prevent incidents and improve reliability.
• Influence the engineering roadmap with strong technical proposals.
• Guide team usage of AI tools to speed delivery while mitigating risk.

Formazione

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
