Qualifications

• At least 8 years of backend engineering experience with leadership of a small team.
• Proven ability to own delivery end-to-end and set architectural direction.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable backend systems.

• Own team delivery outcomes: roadmap commitments, quality, and reliability of backend services.
• Set architectural direction and ensure high-quality review standards.
• Own on-call posture, incidents, and post-mortem improvements.
• Foster high-performance culture with clear expectations and accountability.
• Translate roadmap into executable plans and manage scope with evidence.
• Collaborate with product and adjacent engineering leads to align goals.
