Job summary

BitHealth is seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead the design and development of enterprise-level AI solutions. The role centers on hands‑on AI engineering, mentoring engineers, and delivering scalable AI systems across complex healthcare environments.

You will collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, integrating AI with existing enterprise platforms and APIs while upholding strong engineering

Qualifications

• Around 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong software engineering foundation with hands-on experience building production-level systems.
• Strong experience in AI/ML, preferably including Generative AI, LLM, and RAG.
• Experience designing or building enterprise-level solutions in complex environments.
• Experience can come from either a technology consulting/system integrator background or an internal engineering/product team within an enterprise.
• Good understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI integration.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is a plus.
