PT Jaya Refrigeration Equipment is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage shipments from China factories (Nansha, Shunde, Wuhu) to the Indonesia factory, ensuring production timelines align with vessel bookings and schedules.
You will monitor orders and vessel status, coordinate with factories, freight forwarders, and internal teams, and maintain accurate monitoring reports using Excel. Strong English and detail orientation are essential.
This role involves coordinating and managing the shipment of purchase orders from three factories in China (Nansha, Shunde, and Wuhu) to a factory in Indonesia. You will be responsible for arranging vessel bookings, tracking shipment status, and ensuring that production timelines are met by coordinating with China factories, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
Arrange the shipment of Midea purchase orders from three factories in China to the factory in Indonesia
Update the status of Midea purchase orders in the Order Monitoring report
Update the vessel movement status in the Vessel Monitoring report
Handle the shipment of materials from factories in China to Indonesia for local production
Follow up with China factories to confirm actual finished production dates, check vessel schedules, arrange vessel bookings through freight forwarders, and match production completion dates with available vessel schedules
Ensure vessel schedules meet production timelines and take preventive action if there are vessel delays or production delays
Update the Vessel Monitoring report daily to track vessel movement and shipment status
Update the Order Monitoring report daily to track the progress and status of Midea purchase orders
About you
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Transportation Management, or a related field
Good English communication skills is a must
1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, import/export, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience in shipment coordination, vessel booking, freight forwarding, and international shipping is highly preferred
Able to coordinate and follow up effectively with China factories, freight forwarders, and internal teams
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to maintain and update monitoring reports accurately and regularly
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in handling shipment delays and production schedule changes
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
Able to work under pressure and meet tight production and shipment deadlines
Proactive in identifying potential shipping or production delays and taking preventive or corrective actions
