Job summary

Midea Group seeks an IT System Support professional to assist with factory information system requirements, planning, and implementations in a manufacturing setting. You will help manage QMS, MLS, MES, HR & Attendance systems, and support digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Fluency in Mandarin and solid IT troubleshooting skills are essential to coordinate with the China headquarters and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years of IT system maintenance, IT support, network administration, or related experience.
• Proficient in Mandarin Chinese to coordinate with China HQ.

Job description

This role involves supporting IT system requirements, implementation, and management within a manufacturing environment. You will assist in developing and implementing IT system plans, support digital transformation initiatives, manage network and data center operations, and provide IT support to users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Assist in collecting, analyzing, and planning factory information system requirements

Support the development and implementation of three-year IT system plans, including Quality Management System (QMS), Logistics Planning System (MLS), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Human Resources & Attendance System

Support project implementation and promote the use of information systems to drive business and digital transformation

Assist the IT Manager in network and data center management

Support information security checks and ensure compliance with IT security requirements

Respond promptly to IT issues reported by users and provide effective troubleshooting and solutions

Track reported IT issues and follow up with users until the issues are fully resolved

Collect user feedback, business requirements, and system improvement requests

Analyze user requirements and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations to management

Coordinate with the China headquarters and relevant internal teams regarding IT system requirements, technical issues, and project implementation

About you

Diploma (D3) or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

1–3 years of relevant experience in IT system maintenance, IT support, network administration, or a related field

Proficient in Mandarin Chinese is a must, with the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with the China headquarters

Good understanding of IT systems, network management, and troubleshooting

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Experience in a manufacturing environment or factory information systems is an advantage
