Job summary

Midea Group is seeking an experienced electrical power systems engineer for a manufacturing facility in Indonesia. You will manage distribution, monitor energy use, and troubleshoot power-related issues to minimize downtime.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist installations and upgrades, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with production, maintenance, and EHS teams to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical power systems in manufacturing.
• Strong PLC and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of energy management and utility optimization is an asset.
• Ability to analyze power system performance and propose improvements.

Job description

Manage and maintain factory power distribution systems, electrical equipment, and utilities

Monitor power consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives

Troubleshoot electrical and power-related issues to minimize production downtime

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of power infrastructure

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and company policies

Analyze power system performance and recommend continuous improvements

Collaborate with production, maintenance, and EHS teams to ensure smooth operations

Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and improvement proposals

Qualification

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical power systems within a manufacturing environment

Experience in an Air Conditioner manufacturing factory is strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of power distribution, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and electrical protection systems

Familiar with PLCs, electrical drawings, and troubleshooting methodologies

Knowledge of energy management and utility optimization is an advantage

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Able to work independently and in a team environment
