Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to lead line objectives, empower staff, and ensure the shift production plan is met on time while upholding safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental standards.

The role focuses on driving safety culture, maintaining NGMP practices, overseeing production efficiency, and coordinating with line teams and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor (S-1) majoring in Food Technology or Technical/Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in a functional role in the food industry with people management.
• Ability to confront non-compliance and enforce safety practices.
• Maintain safe working environment through housekeeping and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure semi-finish and finished goods meet quality standards and instructions.
• Maintain NGMP-compliant facilities and housekeeping.
• Manage production via operational reviews for sustainable results.
• Organize and delegate tasks and evaluate team performance.
• Maintain dialogue with stakeholders on the line (shift teams, managers, unions).

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)
