Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to deliver line objectives by empowering the team and ensuring the shift production plan is met on time, in compliance with safety, quality, cost, and environmental needs. You will lead the safety culture, enforce hygiene and safety procedures, and ensure finished goods are manufactured to standards while maintaining NGMP.

You will manage production through reviews, delegate tasks, assess performance, and maintain dialogue with line teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Food Technology or Technical/Engineering.
• 2–5 years in a functional role in the food industry with experience in engaging/motivating people.
• Ability to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety culture and enforce hygiene & safety procedures.
• Ensure Semi-Finish and Finished Goods are produced to quality standards and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain clean and well-maintained working areas in accordance with NGMP.
• Manage production effectively through operational reviews and standard routines.
• Organize and delegate tasks, assess team performance and maintain dialogue with stakeholders.

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)

What will make you successful

• Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering
• 2-5 year experience in a functional role in Food industry - Having Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance,
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.
• Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment Ability to set effective and challenging objectives
