Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to deliver the line objectives by empowering and engaging people to develop their capability and ensure the shift production plan is achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements.

You will lead the safety culture, maintain clean and safe working environments, oversee quality per NGMP, and coordinate with the Production Manager, Maintenance, and line teams to drive continuous improvement and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Engineering.
• 2-5 years experience in a functional role in the Food industry.
• Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people.
• Ability to confront non-compliance and maintain safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment.
• Ensure Semi Finish Goods and Finished Goods meet quality standards and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain clean and safe working environments according to NGMP.
• Manage Production through operational reviews and standard routines.
• Organize and delegate assignments to team members and evaluate performance.
• Maintain dialogue with line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, and representatives.

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures
• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).
• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)
• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.
• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams
• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)

What will make you successful

• Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering
• 2-5 year experience in a functional role in Food industry - Having Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people
• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance,
• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.
• Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment Ability to set effective and challenging objectives
