Nestlé Indonesia is seeking an Operations Shift Manager to lead production lines, empower teams, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety, quality, cost, and environmental standards. You will drive manufacturing excellence by engaging people and delivering continuous improvement.

The role focuses on maintaining NGMP practices, coordinating with Production Manager, Maintenance, and unions to optimize line performance and safety culture on the shift.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or Technical/Engineering.
• 2–5 years in a functional role in food industry.
• Ability to lead and motivate people while ensuring safety and quality.

A day of life

• Lead the Safety Culture and conditions for a Safe Working Environment. Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety procedures


• Ensure that Semi Finish Good and Finished Goods are consistently manufactured according to standards of quality and relevant manufacturing instructions (compliance).


• Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Nestlé Good Manufacturing Practices (NGMP)


• Manage Production effectively through operational reviews and use Standard Routines to ensure sustainable results.


• Organizing & delegating assignments to the team members, assessing and evaluating the work performance of the teams


• Ensure constant dialogue with relevant stakeholders (line shift teams, Production Manager, Maintenance, Unions, functional representatives on the line)

What will make you successful

• Bachelor (S-1) Majoring Food Technology or Technical/Engineering


• 2-5 year experience in a functional role in Food industry - Having Experience in managing and engaging / motivating people


• Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance,


• Ability to maintain a safe working environment through effective housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.


• Ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment Ability to set effective and challenging objectives
