Job summary

Tap Growth ai is hiring an IT Support Engineer Supervisor to oversee plant-level IT infrastructure at its Karawang facility. You will manage network and server environments, enforce cybersecurity controls, and guide incident resolution and IT governance to ensure seamless operations.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with responsibility for asset lifecycle, project execution, and access governance while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on IT experience in IT support, network or systems administration.
• Experience in Manufacturing Plant or Industrial Site environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of network hardware, server systems, user permissions, and security frameworks.
• Solid understanding of IT compliance standards and IT audit preparation.
• Willingness to be based at the Karawang plant (West Java).

Our Client an established chemical manufacturing enterprise, who are looking for a highly capable and proactive IT Support Engineer Supervisor. Based at their manufacturing plant in Karawang, this role is responsible for overseeing plant-level IT infrastructure, network stability, server administration, cybersecurity compliance, and technical support operations. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical troubleshooting with supervisory capability, ensuring seamless operational continuity, strict IT governance, and asset lifecycle control within a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:

• Infrastructure & Network Administration:Maintain critical plant IT infrastructure, server environments, and core network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) to guarantee system uptime and operational stability.

• Cybersecurity & Regulatory Compliance:Implement and monitor IT security protocols; ensure strict adherence to internal IT SOPs, compliance requirements, system documentation, and audit trail logs.

• Operational Technical Support:Lead prompt incident resolution and operational helpdesk support to minimize plant downtime and ensure continuous business workflows.

• IT Asset Lifecycle Governance:Oversee IT hardware procurement, system deployment, active inventory tracking, and end-of-life asset management across plant departments.

• Project Execution & Continuous Improvement:Monitor and execute IT infrastructure projects within defined scopes, budgets, and timelines; analyze IT system performance metrics to drive operational upgrades.

• System Access & Process Control:Manage daily system administration, user access rights, configuration updates, and technical process governance records.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) inComputer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 3 to 4 years of relevant hands-on experiencein IT support, network administration, system administration, or infrastructure engineering.

• Industry Experience:Background working within aManufacturing Plant, Chemical Processing Facility, or Industrial Siteenvironment is highly preferred.

• Strong Technical Mastery:Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls), server systems, user permission structures, and security frameworks.

• Solid understanding of IT compliance standards, IT audit preparation, project management fundamentals, and IT asset tracking.

• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, proactive initiative, high adaptability, and effective communication capabilities.

• Willing to be fully based at the plant in Karawang, West Java.
