Job summary

PT Rukun Persada Makmur in Jakarta is seeking an IT Support / IT Operational professional to maintain and support the organisation's IT infrastructure and end-user systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 or S1 qualification in Information Technology or related field.
• 1–2 years of IT Support or IT Operations experience.
• Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting for PCs, printers, and IT assets.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, Subnetting).
• Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and device deployments.
• Knowledge of IT security, backups, and corporate email systems.

This is an IT Support / IT Operational role responsible for maintaining and supporting the organisation's IT infrastructure and end-user systems.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on hardware, software, and office networks

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users and employees

Install, configure, and update new software and hardware devices

Manage and ensure network security and data backup system availability

Manage IT asset inventory and document all issue resolutions

About you

Minimum D3 or S1 qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT Support or IT Operations

Proficiency in hardware and software troubleshooting (PC, laptop, printer, and other IT assets)

Understanding of basic computer networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Mikrotik, Router, Switch, IP Addressing, Subnetting)

Experience with installation and configuration of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)

Knowledge of Active Directory management, corporate email systems (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365), and IT inventory systems

Understanding of basic data backup and restore concepts and information security (cybersecurity/antivirus)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication skills with a service-oriented mindset

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
