Job Description:
- Provide technical support to internal users regarding hardware, software, network, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers.
- Manage and track helpdesk tickets from initial receipt through to full resolution.
- Install and configure operating systems, enterprise software, and application suites required by the company.
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems to support operational, security, and facility needs.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic network devices.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on all IT infrastructure and hardware.
- Install, maintain, and repair radio communication equipment, including handheld (HT) and mobile (Rig) radios.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking for all company IT assets.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT departments to resolve escalated or complex technical issues.

Requirements:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an IT Support Specialist / Desktop Support is preferred.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Solid knowledge of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work on an 8:2 roster system and be deployed/relocated to other sites within the Ucoal operational area.
- Nice to Have / Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, or Helpdesk/IT Ticketing systems.
- Hands‑on experience with remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer, RDP).
- Basic understanding of information security principles and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
