Job summary

PT STAR MAJU SENTOSA is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our application development team and drive technology initiatives across the group. You will oversee end-to-end IT projects, ensure reliability of business applications, and collaborate with business units to optimize processes.

The role requires strong SDLC, architecture and API skills, plus experience with cloud services (AWS) and familiarity with retail SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an IT development team.
• Knowledge of SDLC, architecture and security.
• Familiarity with microservices and API integration.
• Cloud services experience (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of finance and accounting processes.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to lead our application development team and drive technology initiatives across the group.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage a team of developers to deliver assigned IT projects.
• Collaborate with business units and other departments to identify productivity improvements through technology implementation.
• Oversee business application operations, performance, and reliability across Head Office and Stores.
• Work closely with IT Infrastructure managers to achieve the company’s technology strategy and objectives.
• Maintain and improve IT development standards and documentation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Software / Application Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Application architecture and security
• Microservices and API integration
• Cloud Services, preferably AWS
• Basic knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes
• Understanding of retail business and SOPs
• Knowledge of AI, automation, and other emerging technologies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional IT experience, with at least 3 years in a Team Lead or Managerial role.
• Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred
