The role emphasizes Agile leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentorship of engineers to maintain high performance and reliability. Strong SQL/RESTful API skills and SAP ERP integration are key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, with experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience developing and managing POS, web, and mobile applications in a retail or enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, OOP, software design principles, and clean code practices.
• Hands-on experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, RESTful APIs, and software architecture.
• Proficient in modern programming languages/frameworks such as Java, .NET, PHP, Node.js, React, or similar.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Git, and CI/CD implementation.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes and application integration with SAP ERP, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
