Job summary

Nabors in Indonesia is seeking an Engineer I to perform maintenance and support for a subset of the IT infrastructure, including routers, switches, servers, CCTV, and wireless devices. The role involves installations, troubleshooting, and documentation at onsite locations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in engineering roles or 5+ years in IT support, with preference for oil & gas or industrial environments and remote-site experience. English communication is advantageous.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma (3) or Bachelor (S1) in Information Technologies or related fields.
Minimum 5 years experience in IT Support, IT Helpdesk or Technical Support.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial, or Engineering environments is highly preferred.
Experience working in remote/site locations such as drilling rigs or industrial sites is advantageous.
Good command of English, both written and verbal, is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support a subset of technical infrastructure (routers, edge routers, workgroup switches, towers, wireless APs, single servers).
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT equipment and network components.
Prepare and maintain IT documentation, network diagrams, inventories and troubleshooting reports.
Coordinate with Operations, vendors, and third‑party service providers.
Escalate issues to higher engineer levels as needed.
