Job summary

PT Midas Daya Teknologi in Indonesia is seeking an Application Support professional to ensure stability of EOD batch processes, investigate production issues, and manage user tickets via Jira across day and night shifts.

You will support UAT, coordinate with Wintel and IAM teams, monitor server resources, and maintain device readiness in line with banking policies, with 2+ years of experience in banking IT support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in Application/Production Support or similar, banking/finance preferred.
• Hands-on Oracle Database SQL querying, troubleshooting and data validation.
• Experience supporting production incidents, EOD processes, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with Jira and supporting UAT activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
• Willing to work in shifts for day/night operations; FX banking apps experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stability and successful execution of EOD batch processes across day and night shifts.
• Investigate and resolve production issues via SQL-based data patching and troubleshooting; escalate high-impact incidents as needed.
• Manage and resolve user-reported issues through Jira with timely, high-quality support.
• Support UAT by preparing data, validating fixes, and assisting users through testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Wintel and IAM teams to support maintenance, device compliance, and access updates.
• Conduct post-maintenance validation and monitor UAT server resources for performance.
• Maintain operational readiness of devices and applications in line with banking policies.

• Incident & Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve production issues by performing SQL-based data patching, troubleshooting system errors, and escalating high-impact incidents when required.
• Service Desk & Ticketing: Manage and resolve user-reported issues through Jira, maintaining timely support and high service quality standards.
• UAT & Testing Support: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities by preparing test data, validating fixes, and assisting users throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional infrastructure teams, including Wintel and Identity & Access Management (IAM), to support system maintenance, device compliance, and access updates.
• Post-Maintenance & Monitoring: Conduct post-maintenance validation and monitor UAT server resources to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
• Operational Readiness: Maintain operational readiness of company devices and applications, ensuring compliance with banking policies and fast-paced operational demands.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database (SQL querying, troubleshooting, and data validation) and Linux environments.
• Experience supporting production incidents, End-of-Day (EOD) processes, system monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with Jira and experience supporting UAT activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Willing to work in shifts and provide support during day/night operational activities when required.
• Experience with Core Banking applications, particularly Oracle Flexcube, will be considered a strong advantage.
• Able to communicate in english, either verbal or written.
