Job summary

Modinity Group is seeking an Inventory Specialist for our Retail Operation team in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role focuses on leading stock opname during store visits, reconciling counts with ERP and e-commerce platforms, and preparing official discrepancy documents (BA1/BA2).

You will collaborate with Store Operations, Merchandising, and IT to resolve stock transfer issues and ensure SOP compliance across locations. Travel to stores for audits is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, stock auditing, or retail operations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and e-commerce platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory documentation processes (e.g., BA1/BA2 discrepancy forms) and compliance monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills to investigate inventory variances and identify root causes.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across teams, with willingness to travel to stores for audits.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee physical stock counting processes (Stock Opname) during regular store visits
• Reconcile physical inventory counts against system records (Odoo, Shopify) and conduct root-cause analysis on discrepancies.
• Prepare, draft, and manage official discrepancy documentation, including BA1 and BA2 forms.
• Work closely with Store Operations, Merchandising (MD), and IT teams to resolve stock transfer issues, inventory adjustments, and system sales sync errors.
• Monitor store adherence to inventory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report recurring operational issues or inefficiencies to management.

Requirements :

• 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, stock auditing, or retail operations.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and e-commerce platforms.
