PT Citra Rasa Makmur Investindo is seeking an Inventory Accountant to maintain accurate records for raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods. You will ensure ERP postings and perform month-end closings while coordinating with Warehouse, Production, and Purchasing teams.
The role involves forecasting, data maintenance, and monthly/annual forecast analysis after month-end close. Fluency in English is required, and experience with costing calculations is advantageous.
This role mainly involves maintaining accurate accounting records for all transactions, including raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, as well as related costing. You will record inventory receipts, issues, adjustments, transfers, and other inventory-related transactions, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded in the ERP/accounting system and performing month-end inventory closing.
Additional ad-hoc tasks include, but are not limited to, forecasting, forecast modelling (data maintenance and updating), month, YTD, and full-year forecast analysis after the month-end close process, etc.
Maintain accurate records of bookkeeping
Maintain accurate accounting records including but not limited to AP, raw materials, packaging materials, WIP, and finished goods
Record inventory receipts, issues, adjustments, transfers, and other inventory-related transactions
Ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded in the ERP/accounting system
Perform month-end inventory closing and ensure all transactions are posted accurately
Reconcile inventory balances between physical stock, warehouse records, and accounting/ERP records
Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing, and other related departments
Review and validate inventory adjustments before posting
Monitor inventory movements and identify unusual or unexplained variances
Calculate and monitor inventory costs and production-related costs
Prepare monthly inventory reports and reconciliation schedules
Support calculation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and its related analysis on a monthly, YTD, and full-year forecast.
Analyze material usage, production variances, and inventory valuation
Ensure inventory is valued in accordance with applicable accounting policies
Analyze inventory movement, aging, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory
Provide explanations for significant inventory variances
Support monthly financial closing and audit requirements
Ensure inventory processes comply with company policies and accounting standards
Maintain proper supporting documentation for transactions
Assist internal and external auditors with inventory-related data and documentation
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accountancy with 3 or 4 years of experience.
Demonstrated accounting knowledge and exposure, including analysis, evaluation, forecasting, etc.
Previous costing calculation/analysis experience is beneficial
English fluency is required (writing, verbal, presenting, etc.)
