Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring injection moulding machines to produce components according to specifications and quality standards
• Setting up machines, adjusting parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times to optimise production
• Conducting routine maintenance checks and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Inspecting finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with quality requirements
• Recording production data, machine performance metrics, and quality control information
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and identifying solutions to minimise downtime
• Collaborating with quality assurance and production management teams to resolve production challenges

About the role

PT Sefong Industries Batam is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Injection Molding Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This is a full-time position based in Batam, Riau Islands. As an Injection Molding Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production operations, ensuring the efficient operation of injection molding machinery and the consistent delivery of high-quality moulded components. Your expertise will directly impact our manufacturing output, product quality, and operational efficiency, making this a strategically important position within our production facility.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring injection moulding machines to produce components according to specifications and quality standards

• Strong communication skills and willingness to follow instructions and procedures
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and operate equipment safely
• Valid industrial safety certification or willingness to obtain relevant certifications
• Preferred experience with specific plastic materials, advanced moulding techniques, or equipment from major manufacturers would be advantageous
