Job summary

PT Sefong Industries Batam is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Leader to oversee our injection molding department in Batam, Riau Islands. You will lead a team, drive production efficiency, uphold quality, and align operations with client requirements.

The role requires strong knowledge of injection molding, lean manufacturing, and data-driven improvement. You will coordinate maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with QA, planning, and senior management to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing
• Deep knowledge of injection molding machines and processes
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
• Strong communication across levels
• Experience with production planning software and data analysis
• Awareness of health, safety and environmental standards
• Preferred certifications in quality, lean, or production leadership
• Fluency in English and Indonesian is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily injection molding operations and production planning
• Lead and develop a team of operators and technicians
• Maintain quality control to meet standards and customer requirements
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Analyze production data to identify improvements and cost savings
• Collaborate with QA, planning and management
• Train staff on SOPs and safety protocols
• Manage raw material inventory and resource utilization
