The role covers policy implementation, disciplinary processes, and regulatory reporting in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Industrial Relations, HRM, or Psychology.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws and related regulations (Law No. 13/2003, Law No. 2/2004, Job Creation Law).
  • 3–5 years in bipartite/tripartite negotiations and disciplinary processes in manufacturing or large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of policies, contracts, SOPs with national labor laws.
  • Mediate worker disputes including shift allocations and misconduct investigations on the factory floor.
  • Coordinate with Manpower Office (Disnaker) and report industrial disputes or quotas.
  • Develop and implement crisis mitigation for potential strikes or disruptions.
  • Draft and maintain Company Regulations, PKB, PB, and official reports for Disnaker.

Job description

Industrial Relations Associate Specialist

Labor Law Compliance: Ensure all company policies, employee contracts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and practices comply with national labor laws and government regulations.

Grievance Handling: Mediate individual and collective worker disputes, handling issues ranging from shift allocations to workplace misconduct investigations on the factory floor

Government Liaison: Maintain strict coordination with regional institutions, such as the local Manpower Office (Disnaker), and handle external reporting for industrial disputes or employment quotas.

Crisis Management: Develop and execute mitigation strategies to prevent or quickly resolve industrial actions, such as worker walkouts, slow-downs, or strikes


Requirement :

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Law, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, or Psychology.

Possess an in-depth understanding of Law No. 13/2003, Law No. 2/2004 (Industrial Relations Dispute Settlement), and the Job Creation Law, along with their implementing regulations (such as Government Regulations No. 35/2021 and No. 36/2021).

Have at least 3–5 years of practical experience handling bipartite/tripartite negotiations, investigating disciplinary violations, drafting disciplinary warnings (SP), and executing termination processes and calculations. (experience in the manufacturing industry or large-scale operations preferred).

Skilled for Company Regulations (PP), Collective Labor Agreements (PKB), Joint Agreements (PB), and official reporting documents for the Manpower Office (Disnaker).

Maintain professional communication and good relationships with Manpower Office officials, government mediators, BPJS representatives, and labor union representatives.

Possess mediation and negotiation skills—being firm yet persuasive and objective—and the ability to withstand emotional pressure when dealing with conflict situations.

Proficiency in English or (Being able to speak mandarin will be an added advantage)
