Job summary

Smoore Technology Indonesia is seeking an Industrial Engineering professional to drive CI initiatives, lean deployment, and factory automation support. You will lead layout planning, NPI support, and process optimization to maximize quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on experience in digitalization, DFM, Poka Yoke, and cross-functional leadership to coordinate actions across QA, Manufacturing, ME, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Lean & IE expertise with track record in CI strategies and lean tools.
• Factory planning and digitalization involving layout, clean rooms, automation/IT support.
• DFM reviews and mistake-proofing (Poka Yoke) demonstrated.
• Structured problem-solving for line abnormalities and effective reporting.
• Strong cross-functional communication coordinating QA, MFG, ME and supply chain vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop CI strategies and lead lean projects aligned with senior management.
• Lead and deploy performance-enhancing CI activities (Kaizen, VSM, TPM, One-Piece Flow, SMED, Pull systems).
• Lead new factory layout design and clean room planning; support automation/IT systems.
• Provide process engineering support for new product scale-up and optimization of workflows.
• Drive root-cause analysis for production anomalies and customer complaints with QA, MFG, ME; collaborate with PMC/SQE for supplier process improvements.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Lean Promotion: Develop continuous improvement (CI) strategies and drive lean projects in alignment with the Management Team and key stakeholders.
2. Lean Methodology Execution: Lead and deploy performance-enhancing CI activities, including Kaizen, VSM, TPM, One-Piece Flow, SMED, and Pull Systems (Cellular Manufacturing & Supermarket inventory buffer).
3. Factory Layout & Automation: Lead new factory layout design and clean room planning; provide critical technical support for company informatization and automation.
4. NPI & Process Optimization: Provide process engineering support for new product scale-up and existing product optimization; drive improvements in product design and manufacturing workflows to maximize quality and efficiency.
5. Quality Countermeasures & Supply Chain Support: Drive root cause analysis for production anomalies and customer complaints, defining corrective actions with QA, MFG, and ME; collaborate with PMC and SQE teams to enhance supplier process capabilities.

Job Requirements

1. Lean & IE Expertise: Proven experience in Industrial Engineering with a strong track record of designing CI strategies and mastery over diverse lean manufacturing tools.
2. Factory Planning & Digitalization: Hands-on experience in greenfield/brownfield factory layout, clean room setups, and giving technical support for automation/IT systems.
3. DFM & Mistake Proofing: Proficient in conducting DFM reviews according to company policies; demonstrated capability in process inspection, fixture optimization, and POKA YOKE (Mistake Proofing).
4. Advanced Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset for addressing line abnormalities, backed by structured problem-solving methodologies and report validation skills.
5. Cross-functional Leadership: Exceptional communication and leadership skills to effectively coordinate corrective action plans among QA, Manufacturing, ME, and Supply Chain vendors.
