Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Batam, Indonesia, is seeking an experienced individual to lead and manage the site layout team. This role involves designing production layouts that meet efficiency targets and managing project roll-outs ensuring adherence to quality and budget. Candidates should have a Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with more than 7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering focused on layout planning and efficiency improvement.

The successful candidate must be lean trained and preferably certified in 6 Sigma, showcasing strong analytical and communication skills, capable of managing both internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Over 7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering focusing on Layout Planning.
• Lean trained/certified with experience in Value Stream Map (VSM).
• 6 Sigma green belt or higher preferred, PJM certification (e.g. IPMA, PMP).
• Relevant experience in manufacturing processes and Material Handling Automation.
• Self-driven and result-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Job description

Your Role

• Lead and manage site layout team.
• Coordinate and define site production layout strategy, able to develop coherent concept and methodology that fits business needs.
• Design overall site production layout that fulfill area efficiency target and flexibility to secure revenue growth.
• Project management for layout implementation. Responsible for project roll out according to schedule, budget, manpower and quality.
• Drive design standardization for workplace, jigs & fixtures for all sites to maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, are cost-efficient, and ensure high product quality.
• Coordinate and work cross-functionally with FM, ESH, IT to improve good 5S and safe workplace, and ensure execution are are according to clean room protocol.
• Ensure complete and accurate layout information in the database, and documentations for standards and guideline.
• Coordinate with Operation Planning team to define site area strategy and execution of setup.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree/ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering Degree.
• Possesses deep knowledge with >7 years experience in Industrial Engineering focusing on Layout Planning, Personnel, Capital, Material, Area Efficiency & WIP Flow improvement.
• Lean trained/certified with experience in performing Value Stream Map (VSM).
• Preferably 6 Sigma green belt or higher, PJM certification (e.g. IPMA, PMP).
• Relevant experience in manufacturing process (preferably Back End semicon) and Material Handling Automation will be an advantage.
• Self-driven, result oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
• Able to work with cross-functional team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholder.
