Job summary

Busana Apparel Group is a leading garment exporter in Indonesia, seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance professional to oversee the entire quality process and liaison with production and buyers. The role requires tracking quality across cutting, sewing and finishing, and detailed reporting to management.

You will conduct pre-production meetings, monitor compliance with standards, and train and coordinate the QC team to sustain high discipline and reduce defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Good in English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the garment and textile industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment and textile quality standards, inspection procedures, and production processes.
• Experienced in fabric inspection, garment inspection, inline inspection, and final inspection.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, technical knowledge, fabric types and sewing techniques.
• Ability to accurately measure garments according to the buyer's tech pack.
• Knowledge of in-line, end line, and final procedures.
• Able to communicate defects clearly to production teams and provide reports to management.
• Proactively identifying issues to prevent defects.
• Organizing the inspection workflow to avoid shipment delays.
• Capability to do the training, supervising, and coordinating QC team.
• Able to implementing and maintaining quality control procedures (SOP).
• Ability to analyze data and reduce reject percentages.
• Experience in leading a team and maintain high discipline under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of defects.
• Strong familiarly with AQL, inspection procedures, and ISO standards.
• Have capability in leadership, problem solving, excellent communication skill to coordinate with production, merchandising, and buyers.

Right now, Busana Apparel Group has more than 50 million pieces of production capability annually from 9 production locations that produced in 30 factories through the hands of 30.000 experienced worker.

Along the way, we are also continuing our efforts to be an energy efficient company by saving 60% of our energy usage on lighting, 50% energy saving through servo motors, 32% steam system optimization, and more than 25,000 trees planted on our sites.
