Busana Apparel Group in Indonesia seeks an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead industrial and manufacturing projects from concept through handover. The role requires a civil/mechanical/electrical engineering background and a strong track record in managing multidisciplinary teams.
You will handle planning, budgeting, supplier coordination, risk control, and ensure compliance with HSE and government regulations while delivering on time and within budget.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant Engineering disciplines.
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in managing industrial, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing projects.
Proven experience in managing greenfield and brownfield industrial projects.
Proven experience in managing projects from concept and feasibility stages through engineering design, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover.
Strong experience in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and activities, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping, and other related disciplines.
Strong knowledge of project management principles, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, risk management, and cost control.
Experience in managing contractors, consultants, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
Strong understanding of engineering design, construction processes, technical specifications, and quality standards.
Familiar with applicable HSE, environmental, and government regulations related to industrial and construction projects.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficient in project planning and reporting tools; familiarity with AutoCAD and project management software is an advantage.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and project milestones.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and technical requirements in alignment with business needs and project stakeholders.
Lead and manage projects from concept, feasibility study, and design through construction, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Review engineering designs, drawings, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Coordinate feasibility studies, site evaluations, technical assessments, and project risk assessments.
Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and other related disciplines.
Supervise and monitor construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, budgets, and project schedules.
Coordinate and manage contractors, consultants, vendors, and other external parties throughout project execution.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, delays, technical issues, and cost overruns, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Resolve technical, engineering, construction, and operational issues during project execution.
Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Utility, Maintenance, HSE, Procurement, Finance, and other relevant departments.
Ensure project timelines and deliverables are achieved in accordance with business requirements and approved project plans.
Manage project costs and budgets, including monitoring expenditures and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure all project activities comply with applicable HSE, environmental, government, and company requirements.
Prepare and present regular project progress reports, including updates on timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and key milestones, to management and relevant stakeholders.
