Job summary

Wesco in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Import & Customs Operations Staff to join our Administrator - Operations role. You will review PIB and customs documents, coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, and freight forwarders, and ensure timely, compliant clearance of imports and exports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, import-export or customs.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
• Familiar with coordinating with PPJK, warehouses, and customs authorities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify import documentation, including PIB and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customs authorities for clearance.
• Monitor import/export shipments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses regarding receiving, inventory, and deliveries to customers.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and regulatory compliant.
• Follow up on shipment status and resolve operational issues related to logistics and customs.
• Communicate with internal departments and external service providers to support supply chain activities.
• Maintain records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
