Mainfreight Asia in Jakarta is seeking a Business Development Manager to create new opportunities, develop sales pipelines, and manage relationships with customers across our logistics services. You will prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations, collaborating with internal operations and pricing teams to design tailored solutions that meet client requirements.

The role supports growth in Indonesia and broader Asia while working in a hybrid setup.

Qualificações

• Experience in business development, sales, or account management within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain services.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
• Comfort with using CRM systems, data analysis tools, and standard office software to manage pipelines and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Prior experience working with international teams or global customers is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Identify new business opportunities and develop sales pipelines across Mainfreight's logistics services.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations; negotiate contracts with internal ops and pricing teams.
• Build and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers; collaborate with warehousing, distribution, and international freight teams.
• Track performance metrics, report on sales activities, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives in Indonesian and Asian markets.
