PT NEW CORAL SEA in Jakarta is seeking an experienced HR and General Affairs leader to oversee HR, GA, and administrative operations for the Indonesian entity, focusing on compliance and government relations. The role collaborates with the General Manager to coordinate with local government institutions, manage visas and permits, and ensure smooth business operations.
Candidates should have 5+ years in HR/GA, strong regulatory knowledge, and fluency in Mandarin and English/Indonesian;
Oversee HR and general administrative operations for the Indonesia company, with a strong focus on General Affairs, government relations, and administrative coordination. The role will work closely with the General Manager to support government-related communications and ensure smooth business operations in Indonesia.
Key responsibilities
Establish and manage HR, General Affairs, and administrative systems and processes for the Indonesia company.
Accompany and support the General Manager in communication and coordination with local government institutions and relevant authorities, including handling government-related matters and maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders.
Ensure the company complies with local regulations, labour requirements, administrative procedures, and local cultural practices during construction and operation periods.
Handle visa applications, residence permits, work permits, and other compliance procedures for foreign employees.
Manage employee recruitment, onboarding, BPJS administration, payroll coordination, and liaise with Finance regarding tax-related matters.
Oversee General Affairs and administrative operations, including fixed assets, office facilities, administrative procurement, accommodation/dormitory arrangements, transportation, and other logistics.
Coordinate and manage administrative/logistics personnel and ensure smooth day-to-day operational support.
About you
At least 5 years of experience in HR, General Affairs, Administration, or related roles.
Proven experience in coordinating with local government institutions and authorities, preferably supporting senior management or a General Manager.
Good knowledge of Indonesian labour laws, visa/work permit requirements, and administrative regulations.
Familiar with Indonesian local culture and government communication and coordination procedures.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and support the General Manager in handling government and administrative matters.
Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin and English/Indonesian communication is preferred.
