Koala Group Bali is seeking an HR & People Manager to build a robust team, establish HR systems, and nurture a positive work culture across multiple locations in Bali. The role goes beyond paperwork to recruit swiftly, implement SOPs, and resolve people-related challenges.
You will lead recruitment, enhance hiring speed, maintain HR documentation, payroll accuracy, and workforce planning for new outlets. Indonesian employment practices and Bahasa Indonesia fluency are essential.

We're looking for an HR & People Manager who can help us build a stronger team, better systems, and a great working culture. This is not an HR role where you only handle paperwork. We're looking for someone who can recruit quickly, create structure, solve people problems, improve SOPs, and make sure our teams are performing well across multiple locations.
Manage recruitment from job posting to interview, selection, and onboarding
Build a strong recruitment pipeline, especially for operational roles
Work closely with managers to understand manpower requirements
Improve hiring speed without sacrificing candidate quality
Maintain an active database of potential candidates
Support workforce planning for new outlet openings
Create, improve, and maintain HR SOPs
Build clear onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain employee files, contracts, attendance, leave, and HR documentation
Coordinate and review payroll accurately and on time
Minimum 3 years of HR experience
Previous experience as an HR Supervisor, HR Generalist, Assistant HR Manager, or HR Manager
Strong understanding of recruitment and HR operations
Able to create and implement SOPs - not only follow existing ones
Strong attention to detail, especially with payroll and documentation
Comfortable handling difficult conversations and employee issues
Good understanding of Indonesian employment practices and HR administration
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia
Experience in hospitality, spa, wellness, fitness, F&B, retail, or other operational businesses will be highly valued
