Job summary

Kanara is seeking a People Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our HR operations as we grow. You will own day-to-day People Operations, ensure smooth employee services, and drive process, system, and operational improvements across the employee lifecycle.

You'll oversee payroll, HRIS, compliance with Indonesian regulations, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver excellent employee experience in a fast-paced, expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management, Psychology, or related field.
• 2–3 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in HR/People Operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll, HRIS, employee lifecycle, and statutory compliance.
• Understanding of Indonesian labor regulations, BPJS, and tax administration.
• Experience in HR process improvement or HR transformation projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to offboarding.
• Ensure accurate payroll, BPJS, tax, contracts, and statutory administration.
• Maintain accurate employee data and HR documentation.
• Ensure HR policies and processes comply with regulations.
• Own HRIS administration and system utilization improvements.
• Standardize HR workflows, SOPs, and service levels.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify manual processes.
• Lead HR digitalization and process improvement initiatives.
• Improve onboarding and overall employee experience.
• Monitor employee satisfaction with HR services.
• Oversee salary adjustments, promotions, bonuses, allowances, and benefits administration.
• Coordinate annual compensation and benefits processes.
• Support compensation benchmarking and market insights.

What You’ll Do

HR Operations & Compliance

• Own HRIS administration and continuously improve system utilization.

Employee Experience

• Ensure responsive and high-quality HR services for employees.
• Manage HR inquiries and requests within agreed SLAs.
• Continuously improve the onboarding and overall employee experience.
• Monitor employee satisfaction with HR services.
• Oversee operational administration of salary adjustments, promotions, bonuses, allowances, and benefits.
• Coordinate annual compensation and benefits processes.
• Support compensation benchmarking and provide relevant market insights.

HR Analytics & Reporting

• Build and maintain HR operational dashboards and reports.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide accurate insights to support business and people decisions.
