PT Structured Services in Jakarta is seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to lead the full spectrum of HR and Administration for Indonesia operations, ensuring local practices align with Group policies and governance.
You will oversee HR operations, payroll, compliance with Indonesian employment laws, recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits and employee relations, while coordinating with Malaysia HQ HR.
As the Assistant Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of HR and Administration functions for the Indonesia operations, supporting local entities.
You will serve as the key local HR representative, working closely with local management, employees, external service providers and the Malaysia HQ HR team to ensure effective HR operations, employee engagement and compliance with applicable Indonesian employment and statutory requirements and ensure local HR practices are aligned with Group policies, governance and business objectives.
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, employment contracts, renewals, benefits and leave administration.
Manage monthly payroll processing and statutory submissions for the Indonesia entities.
Coordinate with HQ HR, payroll and tax consultants to ensure accurate and timely payroll and statutory processing.
Prepare HR reports and provide required employee data for management, audit, actuarial and financial reporting purposes.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, from manpower planning and hiring proposals to candidate selection and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and provide appropriate recruitment solutions.
Coordinate with recruitment agencies and other external service providers where required.
Implement and maintain HR policies and practices in compliance with Indonesian employment laws and Group requirements.
Advise management and employees on employment, disciplinary and employee relations matters.
Handle employee grievances, investigations and disciplinary matters where required.
Monitor changes in Indonesian labour regulations and advise management and HQ HR on relevant implications.
Coordinate the performance management process and support managers in addressing performance and development matters.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programmes.
Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.
Administer employee compensation and benefits in accordance with company policies and local requirements.
Manage employee benefit programmes and coordinate the bidding and renewal of Employee Health and Life Insurance.
Provide guidance to employees and management on compensation and benefits matters.
Coordinate visa and work permit matters for foreign employees, including required company appointments and authorisations.
Coordinate with tax consultants and maintain appropriate access and administration for the company's Coretax account.
Act as the designated Data Processing Officer (DPO) and support compliance with applicable data protection requirements.
Oversee general office administration, HR & Admin budget planning, petty cash and other corporate administrative matters.
Support banking and administrative transactions in accordance with authorised company procedures.
Act as the key liaison between the Indonesia office and Malaysia HQ HR team on HR, employee and administrative matters.
Supervise and guide one direct report, ensuring effective delivery of HR & Admin activities.
Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to full-spectrum HR operations.
Strong hands‑on experience in Indonesia HR operations and employment practices.
In-depth knowledge of Indonesian employment laws, labour regulations and statutory requirements.
Solid experience in payroll, employee relations, recruitment, compensation & benefits and HR compliance.
Experience working with external HR, payroll, tax or other service providers.
Knowledge of BPJS, employee tax, immigration/work permit and data protection matters will be an advantage.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Proactive, hands‑on and able to work independently in a lean HR environment.
Willing to travel and accept overseas assignments, where required.
