• Manufacturing or logistics sector experience is advantageous
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; other languages beneficial
• HR qualification/certification (SHRM or equivalent) preferred

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist Supervisor to join PT Lami Packaging Indonesia in Cikande, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources operations and contributing to the development of our workforce across the manufacturing and packaging sector. As HR Generalist Supervisor, you will bridge the gap between operational HR functions and senior management, ensuring effective people management practices, compliance with employment regulations, and the implementation of HR initiatives that drive organisational success. This supervisory role is essential to maintaining strong employer-employee relationships and fostering a positive workplace culture within our growing manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily HR operations, including payroll management, time management, performance management and employee relations.

Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, ensuring all documentation meets Indonesian employment law requirements and internal policies

Support employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, managing disciplinary procedures and facilitating conflict resolution

Ensure compliance with local labour laws, regulations and company policies across all HR functions

Process and verify payroll information, timekeeping records and benefits administration with accuracy and confidentiality

Prepare HR reports and analytics to support management decision-making and strategic workforce planning

Mentor and supervise junior HR staff, providing guidance and feedback to develop their professional capabilities

Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements and support succession planning initiatives

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist role or HR administrative position, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity

Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment law, labour regulations and statutory compliance requirements

Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels

Strong organisational and time management abilities, with proven capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Demonstrated experience in employee relations and payroll administration

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive personnel information with discretion

Problem-solving mindset with a customer service orientation towards internal stakeholders

Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is highly advantageous

Fluency in both Indonesian and English is essential; additional languages are beneficial

A relevant HR qualification or certification (such as SHRM or equivalent) is preferred
