We are currently assisting a growing Chinese-invested construction and engineering company in Indonesia with its recruitment.
The company provides one-stop construction services from planning and design through project completion and acceptance. Its business activities include decoration and renovation, electromechanical installation, steel structure works, waterproofing, flooring, and secondary structure works. The company has more than 30 Chinese management personnel and over 1,100 workers in Indonesia.
The HR & Administration position will be responsible for local recruitment as well as general HR and administrative activities for the Indonesia operation.
Manage the full recruitment cycle for local Indonesian employees, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer communication, and onboarding follow-up.
Develop and maintain recruitment channels and publish job vacancies through appropriate platforms.
Manage local employee administration, including employment contracts and renewals, attendance, leave, BPJS, payroll-related data, and employee relations.
Maintain employee personnel records and documentation.
Handle work permits, KITAS/residence permits, and company licenses and certificates, including applications, renewals, and annual reviews.
Support daily office administration, including office supplies, meetings, accommodation/dormitory management, business travel, and ticket arrangements.
Perform other HR and administrative tasks assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
1-3 years of HR or administrative experience.
Hands-on experience in local recruitment is essential.
Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and Indonesian, with both languages used as working languages.
Basic English reading and writing skills are an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, recruitment platforms, and workplace collaboration tools.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Responsible, proactive, diligent, trustworthy, and able to work under pressure.
Experience in a Chinese-invested company is preferred.
Experience in local recruitment within the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
